The Long Service Award was formally established by the University to express appreciation and recognition to long-serving faculty and staff members, whose hard work and dedication have contributed to the University’s rise since it was founded.

HKUST Unicorn Day, the annual flagship event of HKUST is back! This year, the University Choir, HKUSTSU, proudly presents the Annual Performance -"Glimpses" in Shaw Auditorium. Through a series of multilingual musical pieces, the student choir will bring audience to explore fleeting moments of brilliance, evoking emotions and painting vivid pictures to capture the essence of "Glimpses".

The Artistic Director of the Hong Kong String Orchestra (HKSO 香港弦樂團), the virtuoso violinist YAO Jue (姚珏) and young talents of the HKSO will collaborate with ZHANG Yi (張毅), a national first-class violin player, to deliver an enchanting performance of chamber music.

Maestro Bruno CANINO, an 89-year-old chamber music pianist, has had a long and distinguished career as a concert and chamber musician, and has given masterclasses in musical institutions around the world. This time, he will conduct a piano masterclass to meet and provide guidance to HKUST students.
